What students are saying...

I first met Heather in September 2007. I could tell from the second I met Heather that she has such a passion for dogs and really wants what's best for them. Not only that, but she is an amazing teacher. There are a lot of really great trainers out there, but they have no idea how to teach their clients how to train their dogs. Heather is not one of them. She is extremely easy to work with, a...nd knows exactly what she was talking about. She teaches very well, and is always there to help me with any questions I have or any dogs I'm struggling with. She has never turned down help for me, even after I completed her E-touch Certification program in October 2007.

Heather is confident, knowledgeable, professional, and patient with every dog and person she works with. Working with Heather was the best choice I've ever made. She has taught me more than I ever thought she could. Not only did she teach me how to work with dogs and their behavior, she also taught me how to start a training business, which is a very important thing for her to include in her certification program. I was just fresh out of high school when I worked with Heather, and didn't know anything about starting a business. Thanks to Heather, I was able to start a successful training business and keep it running strong. I couldn't have gotten to where I am today without Heather's help and support.

Thanks for all of your knowledge and support, Heather!

Attending K9 Lifeline's School For Dog Trainers absolutely changed my life ! To begin with, Heather Beck is an amazing trainer - she works with dogs with all types of behavioral issues ranging from shyness to aggression and everything in between ! Though she is small in stature, Heather's powerful presence, focus, knowledge, experience and communication skills are a sight to behold. I learned m...ore than I ever dreamed possible, and I am so grateful to Heather for both her encouragement and her faith in my dog training skills.

In addition to working with a huge variety of dogs, Heather also offers much in the way of how to run a successful dog training business - a very important subject for someone in the process of developing their career.

Since I returned home, Heather has been an immense source of support ! There have been several occasions when I have called her for advice, and she is totally generous with her time and her knowledge. I am proud to call Heather both a friend and a colleague, and would recommend her services wholeheartedly and without reservation.

I feel overwhelmingly fortunate for having had the opportunity to have studied with Heather. Her unique talent for dealing with difficult and/or aggressive dogs afforded me the chance to work with dogs that many other trainers would consider lost causes. I always felt 100% safe as Heather had my back - and my front ! - at all times ! Learning how to handle tougher cases has allowed me to establish a niche for myself in my locale. And the joy one gets from bringing a formerly "unmanagable" dog to a high level of cooperation, calmness and reliability is deeply satisfying !

Thank you for everything, Heather ! You are the best !

Hi Heather !
This is just a little note for a huge THANK YOU and to tell you how grateful I am of everything you taught me about dogs. This is helping me everyday with my pack. I always thought Beagles were barkers, escapers and stubborn….but they are not, it just depends on who the leader is…
Coming to Salt Lake City, UT to be trained was a great experience, I felt like I was at home, I learned a lot by seeing you work with all kind of dogs with very different issues. I really appreciate the fact that you were always willing to listen to my questions and take time to explain making sure I understood. Your training helped me to be able to rehabilitate my little traumatized puppy mill pack. They’ve come a long way…and are adoptable now and can enjoy a normal life. This is price less.
But another thing I need to say is your amazing availability.I know I can call you anytime to ask you anything about dogs. When I have a new client I make up my mind on how I’m going to work with the dog and usually I call you to see what you think about it, and you are always there to answer. I think this is VERY important for beginners(trainers), it makes me feel more confident to know you are backing me up.
I’m happy with what I am doing with my life and I owe you that BIG TIME!!
Thank you! Let me know when you are tired of hearing me say that…
